NT Wrapper Manager Pro is capable to connect to remote computers and to manage remote (NT Wrapper) services as well as remote service definition files.
Requirements 1) On the remote machine Administrative Shares (C$, D$ etc.) *MUST be available. By default Administrative Shares are enabled on a standard Windows installation, but may have been disabled by the administrator. 2) The user account executing NT Wrapper Manager Pro must have sufficient privileges
4) Both computers, remote as well as local must have NT Wrapper Pro version 0.97 or better installed. Choose Connect Remote Machine... from the file menu. In order to disconnect choose Disconnect from the file menu. When you connect to a remote computer it's recommended that you set the refresh interval to Low or even disable Auto Refresh since enumeration of remote services takes time. Also note that directory- and filenames must be local to the computer you are connected to. So don't use file- as well as directory dialogs/pickers, instead enter paths manually. Note: CPU Binding cannot be modified when NT Wrapper Manager Pro is connected to a remote machine. |
